Jersey Club Presets

Jersey Club samples are built around syncopated kick drum patterns, off-kilter claps, rapid hi-hat rolls, and chopped or pitched vocal cuts. The style developed in northern New Jersey in the late 1990s as a regional offshoot of Baltimore club, sharing its aggressive sample-chop culture while developing a distinct approach to percussion around a "three-beat" kick pattern that gives Jersey Club its propulsive, stuttering signature. DJs and producers like DJ Tameil and DJ Smallz are credited with defining the sound, which has since expanded its influence into hip hop, R&B, and global club music scenes.
