“I’m not a painter, but I like to look at Pro Tools as a canvas,” Suzy Shinn tells us.
“That’s why I have a million tracks named ‘Audio’ at times, because I’m just throwing paint at the wall. I’m trying to make something with all the technical aspects out of the way so that I can just focus on the thing that I did when I was 13 in my bedroom—making music because I loved it.”
Suzy Shinn is a producer, songwriter, and engineer who has worked alongside the likes of Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, Katy Perry, and Dua Lipa, to name a few. She also has a sample pack on Splice that offers a selection of her energetic drum loops and detailed one-shots.
