UNIIQU3 is a producer, DJ, rapper, and vocalist who’s a pioneer of Jersey club music.
In celebration of the release of the UNIIQU3 Clubhead Kit Vol. 1 sample pack, the prolific producer sat down with us in the video above to showcase how to get started with making a Jersey club beat in a matter of minutes. In particular, she emphasizes how producers can use field recordings to find inspiration and add originality to their music, incorporating everything from a basketball game’s horn to dog barks into her demo track.
“As producers, we’re usually working with the same sounds and loops,” UNIIQU3 says. “This is a way to make your music stand apart from all the rest. This is a way to level up your productions and get creative with your surroundings.”
