Splice offers six months of its Creator plan to eligible artists in Spotify’s new Fresh Finds Forward program.
For artists looking to share their music with a broader audience, landing on Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlists can be a game changer. Fresh Finds playlists are curated by Spotify’s worldwide team of music editors, who discover and champion independent, unsigned, and early-career artists across genres and markets around the world. The playlists have helped artists break through and reach new audiences for more than a decade, including now-household names like sombr, Doechii, and Japanese Breakfast.
Today, Spotify announced Fresh Finds Forward, a new program designed to give about 10,000 emerging independent artists each year the resources, community, and support to turn early momentum into long-term growth. Eligible artists added to a Fresh Finds playlist from January 1, 2026 onward will receive 12 months of access to program benefits.
As part of our commitment to helping artists find and hone their sound, Splice is offering eligible members six months of free access to the Creator plan, which includes:
- ~200 monthly downloads
- Full access to 3M+ sounds
- 1000+ playable Splice INSTRUMENT presets (including the full premium preset library)
- Rare Finds—a filter that surfaces high-quality, rarely-used samples so you can feel confident that your productions will sound unique
With more than three million available samples, loops, one-shots, sounds (all human-made and human paid), virtual instruments, and AI-assisted creator tools like Variations that ensure the original creator is compensated when a sound is used, the Splice platform is designed to help artists create music that is high quality and fully commercially licensable.
