The SNIPES Soundbooth is a European platform that aims to find and champion upcoming rap and producer talent across the continent.
Every year, they host the Soundbooth Challenge, where upcoming producers and rappers compete for a prize to kickstart their career. This year, we’re partnering with them once more to find the soundtrack for the next ‘Exchange’ cypher, a high-profile European collaboration featuring some of the biggest artists of the continent.

How to enter
Here’s the challenge: Create a beat for this year’s cypher that incorporates the provided sounds. The first-place winner will receive $1,000 USD, have their beat featured on the ‘Exchange’ cypher, and get a trip to Paris for the video shoot. The second-place winner will also receive $500 USD, and the third-place winner will receive $250 USD.
Head over to the Splice Discord and see the #battle-announcements channel to find the sounds and see additional details. You’ll have until 11:59 p.m. on December 26th, 2024 to submit your beat. Once submissions have closed, you’ll have until 11:59 p.m. on December 29th, 2024 to vote.
