Watch KSHMR transform a rubber chicken into an epic arrangement

For over a decade, KSHMR has set the gold standard for sample packs.

Starting with Sounds of KSHMR Vol. 1 in 2015, his packs have powered countless hit songs totaling to billions of streams, beloved by the producer community for samples that are high-quality straight out of the box.

In celebration of the release of Sounds of KSHMR Vol. 5—the series’ most ambitious chapter yet—we had the opportunity to sit down with the legendary producer for our inaugural Mystery Box challenge. The rules are simple: Open the box and make music using nothing but the objects and prompts within the box. Watch along as KSHMR takes his sampling skills and creativity to the test, flipping everything from his own sounds to a rubber chicken into a larger-than-life arrangement.

“The mystery box was a formidable opponent,” KSHMR laughs as he listens back to his track. “But we persevered. We have overcome, and we are victorious.”
