Known for his innovative production and sound design chops, DECAP’s credits include the likes of DaBaby, Anderson .Paak, Beyoncé, and Eminem. He’s also the founder of Plugins That Knock and Drums That Knock—collections of plugins and sample packs that have enabled producers everywhere to access his iconic sonic signature.
In celebration of the release of the tenth pack in the Drums That Knock series, DECAP sat down with us on the Splice YouTube channel to showcase how he makes a beat from scratch in Ableton Live, incorporating some sounds from Drums That Knock X.
