How The Kount (BROCKHAMPTON, Logic) brings a loop to life

There’s a singular energy that comes with making music in a room surrounded by other musicians.

Toronto-based producer and multi-instrumentalist The Kount is an established producer and artist in his own right—but he’s also an avid collaborator, having worked alongside the likes of BROCKHAMPTON, Logic, and Noname. In the video above, The Kount showcases the joy and power of the collaborative process, jamming with his friends to arrive to a fully fleshed-out groove. Watch along above as they start with a drum loop from Kount Labs’ ORB sample pack and then progressively add layers, from keys to guitars and bass.
