About the Creators

To maintain the disco authenticity of the '70s and '80s, Paul Mabury and Javier Solis used 1980s Rodgers and Yamaha drum kits with CB-700 concert toms. Over 15 additional different percussion instruments were played live in the recording of this pack.

Paul Mabury is a Grammy-winning Nashville-based drummer and producer who’s had many number-one hits. In addition to being co-founder of That Sound, has steadily established himself as an outstanding producer and a successful songwriter. He has co-written songs for All Sons and Daughters, Lauren Daigle, Tim Timmons, Jason Crabb, Elevation Worship, Amanda Cook, Meredith Andrews, Desperation Band, Dara Maclean, and more. In addition, Mabury is one of Nashville’s most in-demand and hard-working drummers. His unique style - with a seemingly endless variety of creative grooves – is instantly recognizable, and often emulated by drummers around the world.

Javier Solis played percussion for Jaci Velasquez from 1997–2002 and is now working as her drummer and bandleader. He's also a first-call studio musician in Nashville, Tennessee. He has performed live with numerous artists including Brian McKnight, Michael McDonald, Cha Ka Khan, Fred Hammond, CeCe Winans, Christopher Cross, The Temptations, and many, many others. He has recorded with Usher, Kenny Loggins, Israel Houghton, Jaci Velasquez, and more.
