dBridge is a British music producer and DJ who has been active in the industry since the late 1990s. He is widely regarded as a pioneer of the Drum and Bass genre and one of its most influential figures.
How would you describe your sound?
Aggressively Beautiful.
Can you give a brief snapshot of how you create your sounds?
Everything's a remix! A technique I use when I get a new synth is to start from a patch, alter it, and transform it to my tastes. I can then get a sense of the machine. I then build up various iterations of the sound.
How do you hope producers use the sounds in your pack?
I hope you can sense the sounds I'm drawn to and alter them to your needs. Destroy them, Twist them, shape them.
What piece of advice do you give to yourself starting in music?
Be patient and honest. You won't make it immediately, and don't try and rush success. Make music for the right reasons; if it's financial, don't expect to be around for too long; a successful music career is built on the shoulders of hardworking people who came before you, and add to that history.
