The emblematic, essential Fantastic

Idrissa Diallo, who performs under the alias, Fantastic is an essential emblematic figure of Senegalese Afrobeat. Born in Abidjan on the Ivory Coast, he grew up and spent his childhood in Guediawaye in Dakar, a mystical place influenced by the hard-hitting rhythms of modern music like hip hop, rap, and trap.

In collaboration with prolific Senegalese producer, Iss 814, Afrolove is a review of all modern Afrobeat influences from across the continent, including the cultures of Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Cameroon, Uganda, and Rwanda, among other regions. This release incorporates their iconic rhythms and explores the softer elements of their musical traditions.
