Darren Keen (Seclusiasis) Shares “Frank Herbert Blues” from New EP

Darren Keen is a one man beat wizard that recently relocated from the cornfields of Omaha to the asphalt jungles of Brooklyn, New York. After 12 years of touring, playing over 1,600 shows, and releasing music through numerous projects, Darren’s first foray into bass and footwork territory was impressive enough to garner the attention of none other than Starkey and Dev79 of the Seclusiasis crew.

Perhaps even more impressive is that Keen’s “Higher” was remixed by juke stalwart DJ Earl (Tek Life). The original version of “Higher” can be heard along with several other tracks on the new EP titled “Roland is My Co-Pilot”. You can sign up for Splice and explore another track called “Frank Herbert Blues” from this EP (below). Darren produced the project in Ableton Live and he’s looking forward to hearing what you create from this session.

You can also catch Dev79 and Darren Keen live at Cameo Gallery in Brooklyn this Thursday, April 9th.
