Matthew Young is an NYC-based multi-instrumentalist / producer who’s been obsessed with sampling since he bought his first MiniDisc recorder in the late ’90s. Since his first release on Merck Records in 2004 alongside acts like Machinedrum and Jimmy Edgar, he has worked across many genres in the electronic and indie spaces and toured extensively. As a Senior Content Producer at Splice, Matthew launched the company’s first in-house label—Splice Originals—which he manages along with Splice Sessions and Splice Country.
