Credits are an important part of how we track and pay the creators that contribute to the massive, diverse Sounds catalog. Each year, Splice is able to pay millions back to sample creators by using credits to track sample usage. Credits you spend directly support the creators that make the samples you choose to download.
During your trial, you can:

- Preview samples in your tracks’ keys and tempos.
- Download zero-credit samples.
In a Creator or Creator+ Plan trial, you’ll also have full access to our subscriber-only plugins, the Astra synthesizer and Beatmaker drum machine.
Splice Sounds work with any DAW. The source files for your Sounds will download to a location on your computer that you can view with the Splice Desktop App.
The Desktop App, as well as other Splice plugins, is fully supported on the following DAWs:

Splice also comes with Bridge, a utility that lets you preview Sounds without using credits.

Yes! Cancel at any time, even during your trial. If you cancel during your trial, you will still have access to the trial’s features for the full fourteen days. When you cancel a paid plan, you will have access until your next billing cycle but will lose any unused credits. You are able to pause your plan for up to two months if you do not wish to lose the credits you’ve accrued.
Yes! When you upgrade, you will have immediate access to any additional credits and any features on the newly selected plan will be available to you.
If you downgrade, your new plan will take effect on the next billing cycle and you will keep any credits you have accrued up to that point. Your new monthly credits will be available on your next billing cycle and will add to your existing credit bank.
If you cancel the trial, you will still have free access to the features for the full fourteen days. When you cancel a paid plan, you will have access to all features in your plan until your next billing cycle, but you will lose any unused credits.
