Meet Reel Music

J.J. Farris founded Reel Music at the turn of the millennium as both a creative outlet to showcase his music and as an opportunity to collaborate with some of his favorite musicians and writers. Twenty-plus years later, Reel Music is a leading supplier of bespoke music, re-imagined cover songs, sound design, and SFX for motion picture advertising, television underscore, national and regional ad campaigns, films, video games, and more. Reel Music for custom music cuts, songs and underscore on a daily basis. Their SFX can be heard in films like Candyman, Tenet, Terminator: Dark Fate, Oceans 8, and many more. 

J.J. is a versatile and prolific composer, songwriter, producer, arranger, and mixer. He’s also a multi-instrumentalist with a wealth of playing experience ranging from being a member of critically acclaimed bands to working as a unique composer with countless hours of score and music cuts to his name that can be heard across multiple platforms. John Harvey heads up Reel Music's Nashville studio. He is a composer, arranger, and sound designer with over 15 years of experience and plenty of modern studio techniques under his belt.
