Kris Bowers (Bridgerton, The Wild Robot) gives an intimate studio tour

Kris Bowers is an Academy Award®-winning filmmaker and an Emmy, GRAMMY, and Oscar-nominated composer and pianist.

The mind behind the genre-defying scores for projects including The Wild Robot, Green Book, King Richard, and Netflix’s Bridgerton, Bowers is renowned for his distinctive blend of classical and jazz traditions with a storyteller’s sensibilities.

In celebration of the release of his inaugural sample pack on Splice Sounds, Bowers invited us to his gorgeous Los Angeles studio for an intimate tour. Join us as he breaks down his production setup, the gear he relies on for orchestral compositions, his approach to blending classical and contemporary sounds, and the space where he’s crafted some of cinema’s most memorable scores. He also shares his insights and anecdotes around how film scores get made for some of Hollywood’s biggest productions.
