John McNeill

John McNeill is a lifelong musician, touring bassist, and award-winning producer with a mission to serve music communities and creators alike. He is a co-founder of the full-service digital production company Soul Surplus, which joined Splice in 2020.

He currently works as a Sr. Label Manager on Splice’s Content team, having led the launch of Splice’s first in-house gospel and jazz labels, Sound Doctrine and Signature. When he isn’t touring or playing in bands John enjoys playing basketball at the local rec center or nerding out about all things sci-fi.
