This month, we curated some Free Drops in honor of some of our favorite recent releases in hip hop, like A$AP Rocky’s Don’t Be Dumb and Wiz Khalifa’s Khaotic. Distorted basses, warped synths, and eerie playable samples—get them while they’re free inside INSTRUMENT.
An eerie, playable sample preset
This month’s drop includes Sickgirl (144bpm), a preset centered around an eerie, cut-up sample from Seoul-based producer Lionclad. Reworked into a playable preset, it’s gritty, fragmented, and full of that glitchy, future-beat character.
Sickgirl (144bpm) comes from the Dream Fragments preset pack, Lionclad’s collection that blurs the lines between raw texture and dreamlike detail. It’s full of gritty drums, warped pads, and lo-fi loops that are all buzzing with an eccentric, future-facing energy.

All you need to do to claim your free synth preset is download INSTRUMENT, register for free, and then look for the ‘Drop’ icon in the top-right corner of the plugin. You’ll find the preset in the dropdown alongside some other Free Drops we think you’ll love—all free to download this month.
