FAQs
How does Splice INSTRUMENT work?
Splice INSTRUMENT is a sample-based virtual instrument which can be downloaded as a plugin (VST, AU) to be used directly in your DAW. Browse and download presets within INSTRUMENT and play them on a chromatic keyboard to turn your ideas into reality with 2 premium packs dropping every month so you’ll always stay inspired.
What do I get with an INSTRUMENT plan?
Subscribing to INSTRUMENT gives you unlimited access to all of INSTRUMENT and its premium presets. The Instrument plan does not give you access to download & use Splice Sounds. In order to access both Splice INSTRUMENT and Splice Sounds, you’ll need to subscribe to the Creator plan.
What are Sounds credits
Sounds credits allow you to download your favorite samples, loops, one-shots, presets from plugins like Serum, Phase Plant and more, and MIDI from the Splice desktop app or Splice.com/sounds. These are only available on a Creator or Creator+ plans and are not part of the Instrument subscription. Instrument does not require any credits to use the presets.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes! Cancel at any time.
What happens if I cancel my Splice plan?
If you cancel your plan, it’ll remain active through the current billing cycle, and you’ll lose access to the credits and plugins included with your subscription once your final billing cycle ends. For more info click here.
