It can be quite challenging to come up with a melody without any structure or direction.
In the video tutorial above, we overview four useful tips and techniques for crafting the perfect melody. Throughout the tutorial, we use a different DAW—FL Studio, Studio One, Logic Pro, and Ableton—to illustrate each technique. That said, all of the concepts explored can be applied to create melodies across all DAWs and workflows.
