KJ Sawka releases “Wildfire” Ableton Live session exclusively on Splice

When he’s not drumming for Destroid and Pendulum, KJ Sawka is producing his own brand of bass music and giving back to fans. KJ recently offered his producing fans a 40x40x40 sample pack including 40 loops and 40 drum samples for free. Now, the drummer is taking things up a notch.

KJ has made a demo song, using the sample pack, and is releasing the Ableton Live session file to fans and Splice users. “Wildfire” connects our favorite Sawka sounds in a full arrangement, using some of our favorite plugins including Native Instruments Massive for the bassline and arp, iZotope Alloy for drum sound design and Ableton Live’s own string sounds.

The music-making community will be able to follow the story of how he made “Wildfire” – from start to finish – through his project timeline on Splice. KJ encourages you to learn from, edit, and remix his “Wildfire” project session. Publish your own remixes back to Splice and KJ himself will be commenting and opening your Ableton Live sessions.
