This month, we curated some Free Drops in honor of some of our favorite recent releases in music, like Charli xcx’s Wuthering Heights soundtrack. From contemporary strings to woodwinds and gentle pianos, take your tracks to new heights with these cinematic but versatile sounds.
Get a free woodwinds preset
This month’s drop includes Intimate Woodwinds – Long, a preset that features a woodwind section consisting of a bassoon, bass clarinet, clarinet, alto flute, and flute. Captured in AIR Lyndhurst Hall, each instrument is “feathered” in and out of their most effective and prominent playing ranges.
The full Intimate Woodwinds pack contains additional articulations for you to experiment with, including short tenuto, short staccato, long air, long swells, and more.
How to access Free Drops
All you need to do to claim your free woodwinds preset is download INSTRUMENT, register for free, and then look for the ‘Drop’ icon in the top-right corner of the plugin. You’ll find the preset in the dropdown alongside some other Free Drops we think you’ll love—all free to download this month.
