FL Studio user tries Ableton Live for the first time

Have you ever wanted to try making a beat in Ableton Live?

If so, join us in the video above, where FL Studio veteran iBEENART tries his hand at producing beats in Ableton Live Lite for the first time. In the process, he explores how to navigate different views, how to edit samples, and other topics that are key to making music in the DAW.

“This is only day one,” iBEENART comments at the end of the session. “I feel like I’m learning how to walk, and at the end of this, I’ll know how to stroll. I know I haven’t tapped into the full capabilities of Ableton yet, but it’s a whole new thing for me, and I’m definitely going to be using it more. I will say, one of the things I really like about it is the Warp feature—to me, it seems like it’s a really easy way to manipulate audio.”
