jetsonmade reveals the stories behind his tag, rise to fame, and more

“Honestly it was an accident, if you ask me about it,” Reek Popii says in reference to jetsonmade’s tag, as the GRAMMY-nominated producer smiles beside him.

“I didn’t even bounce the tag out at first,” jetsonmade responds. “It was just on one song.”

In celebration of the release of his new Make Me Spaceboy sample pack, jetsonmade, Reek Popii, and Juice sat down with us in the video above to discuss the young producer’s rise to fame and the full story behind his iconic tag. From there, Jetson also breaks down his approach to gathering the sounds in his pack, and talks about what he hopes other producers will get out of it. “It’s about taking wherever you at, and going to the moon with it—going wherever with it, your way” he says. “You might use the same 808 as me, but we’re going to make the beat two totally different ways.”
