In the spirit of this exploratory mindset to music creation, we’re thrilled to announce Splice Explores, our new label that celebrates the experimental and inspirational sides of audio and makes them more accessible than ever before. Each Splice Explores pack takes creators on a journey through the expansive landscape of sound, showcasing unexpected techniques, organic field recordings, conceptual deep-dives, unique instrumentation, and more.
Our introductory collection of Splice Explores releases features ASMR recordings, sound meditation, whale sounds, and gamelan performances and abstractions — and we’re just getting started. Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be regularly adding packs that challenge and transcend what’s typically expected of a sample pack.
