Guapdad 4000 can taste sound in AudeoBox’s In the Box

Leading sample label AudeoBox (Jaden Smith, Kehlani, Coca-Cola) has teamed up with Splice for the first season of In The Box.

The five-part web series puts a comedic and irreverent twist on the creative process behind some of today’s most influential producers and artists. Hosted by “Rick Goldfeather” and created and directed by AudeoBox’s co-founder Young Fyre, In the Box will debut new episodes every Thursday starting July 22.

The first season’s special guests include Mr. Franks (Ariana Grande’s “Positions,” Justin Bieber’s “Holy”), The Monsters & Strangerz’ MarcLo (Dua Lipa’s “Levitating,” Halsey’s “Graveyard”), Micah Powell (Omarion’s “Post To Be”), The Monarch (Meek Mill’s “All Eyes on You”), and rapper / producer Guapdad 4000. Each week, the guests will take turns gamely fielding Rick Goldfeather’s poorly researched questions and impassioned non sequiturs—all accompanied by the visuals and tone of a late-night ‘80s public-access show gone terribly awry. “Too many music companies take themselves way too seriously. We clearly don’t at AudeoBox, and wanted to have some fun with our friends who could roll with Rick Goldfeather’s many punches,” Young Fyre tells us. “We’re excited to partner with Splice to help speak directly to the producer community and welcome non-insiders to our world in the process. Join us on In The Box every Thursday for a little bit of knowledge, and a really good time.”
