The hidden contexts in rhythms

Pape Armand Boye shared the following reflection:

African music is complex.

Its deep link with African spirituality makes it complex and difficult to grasp.
The music responds to a logic that is difficult to define.
The rhythms are old and convey hidden messages.
This is not a myth and behind each rhythm, there is a dance and each dance is a coded message.

In this pack, the Diola rhythms of Senegal, the serer rhythms and hal pular and wolof coexist together in a perfect harmony and code.
The rhythms are ancient. They are genuine.

They tell stories, of war, of peace, of solidarity, of love between peoples.
They warn about the balances of the world, about the protection that we owe to the earth.
The ternary rubs shoulders with the binary, the melodies are strong and they were created by the people for the peoples for a better world.

This pack was made with rigor and love. In the pure tradition of traditional African music.
