Cityscapes - London

Featured story

The endless opportunities of field recordings

You won't find such extensive and detailed sounds of London beyond this pack. It includes varietal recordings of the people of London, capturing the authenticity of British life from all walks. We used a Zoom H5 microphone in 96khz to get the highest quality recordings.

Filmmakers can harness the sounds of one of the most recognizable cities in the world without needing the resources or ability to film on location. These sounds could bring an animation of London to life. Or be used as unique source sounds for music production and sound design - sounds like passing tube trains, for example, could serve as risers. Or, create a vibe and use the sounds of the city to layer into tracks for a specific ambiance.  Your options are endless, get creative with it.
