Tony Maserati on the DRM Drum Slammer: “The DRM was designed to help the excitement of percussive transients get heard through mixes which are thick with instrumentation and vocals. Whether on programmed or live drums, DRM is a great starting point for your mix.”

Up and coming Queens, NY producers Bro Jackson and Eff3x, have just released their collective debut. Titled “Reaction,” the track is a melodic transportation into the world of future bass while blurring the lines of a downtempo chill that’s quickly transformed into deep wobbles on the bottom that will slap you in your face when it drops. All of this is paired nicely with the female cuts that make it even more transcendental while still keeping you grounded and in good spirits. We like what these guys have brought to the table (with their debut release nonetheless) and look forward for what’s to come! Follow up and show your support through their social channels

Overall went for something more cinematic and dramatic that really attempts to create an atmosphere. Made use of the free Signal by Output which gives the 3 against 2 feel. Also made some small use of the new Plugin Boutique Synth Carbon Electra (which I'm liking even though I've only had it for a day). As ever the main task was in getting the dynamic shaping right. Hope you like it.
