FAQs

How do I sign up?

Head over to Splice https://splice.com/instrument. You will need to create a free account with Splice before you start your INSTRUMENT journey, whether you are using our freemium product or our fuller subscription product. If you already have a Splice account you can use that to login, otherwise you will be prompted to create one in the checkout area on the next page.

I have a discount code, where can I use this?

If you have a code to use, enter this into the promotion box in the checkout area on the next page.

Where can I see my discount?

At the billing step on the next page, the full price will show. However, there will be a note in the blue boxed area denoting that your discount has been added.

What version of LABS content can be imported?

Any content installed for LABS 1.0 (white plugin from the Spitfire Audio App) or LABS 2.0+ (green plugin) can be imported.

Will my packs continue to work in the LABS plugin?

Yes! We have no desire to break your active projects so the LABS plugin will continue to read the same content and your projects will be unaffected.

Are there any packs that can’t be migrated into INSTRUMENT?

Legacy packs that have since been discontinued cannot be imported. This includes: LABS Wurli and LABS Sleigh Bells

Why can’t I import any LABS+ packs?

In order to import LABS+ content you must have an active plan within INSTRUMENT, through either the INSTRUMENT or Creator/Creator+ plans. If you still have a LABS+ plan and need help getting moved over to INSTRUMENT please contact our support team https://support.splice.com/en/
