Minecraft is a game that you should play with your friends. Sometimes you will all be working together to create something incredible and other times you'll utilize mods to recreate Eldenring and other times you'll explore servers online to see what else the internet offers. GAMES If you are playing online with other players, sometimes things can become messy, and this appears to be the problem that the latest Minecraft snapshot is trying to address.

Minecraft snapshot 22W24A is out today, and it's progressing towards 1.19.1 by adding some bug fixes and two new features. Chat reporting is the main feature. This lets you report abusive messages that are being sent in chat in game. The blog states that "any reports made during testing are not considered to be valid," but that it is important to recognize that toxic players are an integral part any online game. This is an excellent move.

Chat reporting is available on the social interactions screen. You will need to report individual chat messages and select the appropriate category. This will help keep the system from being misused. You can't create a generic report on an individual player. You must state the actions they took. The blog says your report will be scrutinized by a moderator. It's not possible to know what constitutes an authentic and actionable report at this point but it's worth knowing about it.

Outside of that, the other big change is that the wonderful Minecraft allay can now be duplicated. It is possible to duplicate it by providing them with an amethyst shard, but duplicates come with an 2.5-minute cooldown. This should alleviate any worries about how many mobs of allay are in the area. Also, a cute thing can only be a good thing, right?

We are huge fans of the Mario Kart mod for Minecraft. It brings in the karts we've all played and love, and adds some amazing aquatic features, too.
