Applied Acoustics Systems

Formed in 1998 by Marc-Pierre Verge and Philippe Dérogis, this Canadian audio company takes years of research in acoustics from the French IRCAM institute and applies it to computer-based audio. Their modular approach to digital sound generation has resulted in incredibly powerful synthesis modules like the Chromaphone and the Lounge Lizard.
