Vibraslap<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"E - How to Play Vibraslap.\" width=\"370\" height=\"208\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MhbwGHuYR-Y?start=100&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The vibraslap is a percussion instrument consisting of a piece of stiff wire connected to a wood ball and a hollow box full of metal &#8216;teeth&#8217; inside. It has a very distinct rattling timbre, and is used in everything from orchestral music to rock and electronic music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Waterphone<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"&quot;A Haunting Under The Blood Moon&quot; Waterphone Soundtrack\" width=\"370\" height=\"208\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FvWnsaGCf_A?start=29&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The waterphone is constructed of a stainless steel resonator bowl with neck rods attached to the rim of the bowl. The rods are of various different lengths, and you can use a bow to get some seriously suspenseful sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Berimbau<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Capoeira - Instruments - Berimbau\" width=\"370\" height=\"278\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Jm5sTIHluVU?start=76&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The berimbau is a single-stringed instrument from Brazil, although earlier versions can be traced to Africa. It\u2019s typically used in capoeira, and has quite the distinct timbre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. It\u2019s from south India and is a main percussion instrument in Carnatic music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. You\u2019ve likely heard it in everything from spooky cinematic soundscapes to EDM and trap beats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. It originated from the Shona people in Zimbabwe, but has become popular throughout the world for its compact size and charming tone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Taking the waterphone&#8217;s sonic characteristics to the next level, it can create an incredibly wide range of timbres by employing different exciters and different parts of the instrument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8.
