Exploring MIDI<\/a> files is a great way to discover a tangible musical idea that\u2019s also totally adjustable in terms of its pitches, rhythms, and timbre to seamlessly fit your track. In this blog post, let\u2019s take a look at how you can get started with exploring and downloading MIDI on Splice Sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to download MIDI on Splice Sounds<\/h2>\n\n\n

Simply go to the MIDI<\/strong> tab on the Splice Sounds homepage<\/a> to find a wide selection of packs that contain MIDI files in one place, organized by Packs with MIDI Basslines, Packs with MIDI Chord Progressions, <\/strong>and Packs with MIDI Melodies.<\/strong> You can click on any pack to be brought to its page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On any individual pack page, keep an eye out for the Extras<\/strong> tab, as you’ll find any MIDI files there. You can preview each file in the same way as any audio loop or one-shot, performed by an instrument of the pack creator’s choosing. Typically, each MIDI file will cost three credits to download.<\/p>\n\n\n

Note that the MIDI files won’t download to your Splice desktop app\u2014rather, they’ll download directly via your web browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
