The first thing to pay attention to is the <strong>Mode<\/strong> button at the top of the GUI, which allows you to operate the plugin in one of three ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Auto Mode<\/strong> relies on pitch detection and internal synthesizers to generate notes, allowing you to simply insert the plugin on an audio track and hit play.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>MIDI Mode<\/strong> lets you play harmonies into VocalSynth 2 by adding the plugin to a software instrument and sidechaining a vocal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sidechain Mode<\/strong> can be used to route non-traditional audio sources (guitars, synthesizers, etc) to the sidechain input of VocalSynth 2, turning any sound imaginable into a vocal effect.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Directly below the Mode button lies five synthesis modules that are the essential tools for creating your sound: <strong>Biovox<\/strong>, <strong>Vocoder<\/strong>, <strong>Compuvox<\/strong>, <strong>Talkbox<\/strong>, and <strong>Polyvox<\/strong>, each with its own controls and characteristics. Each effect\u2019s position in the chain can be freely rearranged by clicking and dragging the dots above the mix slider in any effect panel. While most of the effects available are quite common, the <strong>shred<\/strong> effect is one that\u2019s unique to VocalSynth 2 &#8211; the effect takes chunks of audio and repeats them at a user-defined rate, allowing for cool stutter and glitch effects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.
