--smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1280\/800;\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Choose <strong>\u201cVPS\u201d<\/strong> for the first oscillator.<\/li>\n<li>Dial the <strong>vertical<\/strong> setting to about 70%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> <em>The vertical parameter controls the frequency component of the sine waves. &nbsp;Increasing this parameter fills in more harmonics to create a brighter timbre.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2 &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Choose <strong>\u201cWavetable&#8221;<\/strong> for the second oscillator and turn the oscillator on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 50px;\">\n<li>Pick wavetable <strong>\u201cclassic triangle\u201d<\/strong> as the second wavetable<\/li>\n<li>Bring the <strong>crossfade<\/strong> down to 0.3<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Tip:<\/strong><\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> At the end of designing the sound, go back and play with different wavetables to try out other sounds.<br>\n<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Choose <strong>\u201cAnalog\u201d<\/strong> for the third oscillator and turn the oscillator on.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that the <strong>sine<\/strong> wave shape is selected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Sculpt the Source<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Step 4<\/strong><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &nbsp; The timing of the modulator envelope (Purple Envelope) will need to be adjusted depending on the BPM you are using.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re now one step closer to mastering circle2.
