The result is a rebooted search experience that makes search faster and more relevant, with better navigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, you\u2019ll see more tags, numbered search result pages, increased variation in results, and better randomization\u2014perfect for sparking your creativity in unexpected ways. In short, you\u2019ll get to the sounds you want quicker, while also discovering more of the Splice catalog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s new in Splice\u2019s updated search experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>First, we tweaked our engine to provide more relevant results to your search queries. Previously, our search experience would return results based on individual words, rather than recognizable musical terms. For example, a search for \u2018hip hop snare\u2019 would return sounds with \u2018hip\u2019 or \u2018hop\u2019 or \u2018snare\u2019 in the title. As a consequence, this meant you sometimes had to sift through pages of results to find the thing you really wanted. Now, our search experience is optimized for meaningful musical terms like \u2018hip hop\u2019 and instrument types like \u2018snare,\u2019 and returns results that make more sense in the context of music production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We made it easier to randomize your results, with a dedicated button at the top of the page. Now you can switch up the search results quickly if you can\u2019t find inspiration in the first set. In combination with more relevant search results, the randomize feature is now a much more creative tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1292\" height=\"711\" data-src=\"https:\/\/splice.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/previewing-3.gif\" alt=\"Learn about the rebooted search experience on Splice Sounds that makes the process of finding sounds faster and more relevant than ever.\" class=\"wp-image-23631 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 1292px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1292\/711;\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We also refined the Tag Cloud, which is the assortment of tags at the top of the page that help you filter your search results.
