That said, financial commitments are absolutely helpful, and many organizations can amplify their efforts with your support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Initiatives and non-profits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These organizations, initiatives, non-profits, and funds are fighting for racial and economic justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/eji.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>The Equal Justice Initiative:<\/strong><\/a> The Equal Justice Initiative works to end mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, challenge racial and economic injustice, and protect the basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Black Lives Matter Fund: (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.actblue.com\/donate\/ms_blm_homepage_2019\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Black Lives Matter Fund:<\/strong><\/a> Black Lives Matter Foundation, Inc is a global organization whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities.<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"NAACP Legal Defense Fund: (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/org2.salsalabs.com\/o\/6857\/p\/salsa\/donation\/common\/public\/?donate_page_KEY=15780&amp;_ga=2.182745391.823177788.1591281636-1810011299.1591126581\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>NAACP Legal Defense Fund:<\/strong><\/a> The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. fights for racial justice in America through litigation, advocacy, and public education.<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"The ACLU: (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/action.aclu.org\/give\/now?ms_aff=NAT&amp;initms_aff=NAT&amp;ms=web_horiz_nav_hp&amp;initms=web_horiz_nav_hp&amp;ms_chan=web&amp;initms_chan=web\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>The ACLU:<\/strong><\/a> The American Civil Liberties Union is a non-profit organization that fights to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person by the laws of the United States.<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Black Visions Collective: (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blackvisionsmn.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Black Visions Collective:<\/strong><\/a> Black Visions Collective (BLVC) organizes and leads targeted collaborative local campaigns across the Twin Cities metro area and Minnesota that advance a concrete impact for Black people\u2019s lives.<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Reclaim the Block: (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reclaimtheblock.org\/home\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Reclaim the Block:<\/strong><\/a> Reclaim the Block organizes Minneapolis community and city council members to move money from the police department into other areas of the city\u2019s budget that truly promote community health and safety.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bail funds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that many bail funds have expressed that the need for immediate demonstration bail has been met at this time. That said, they continue to be pivotal outside of times of widespread protest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Split your donation: (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.actblue.com\/donate\/bail_funds_george_floyd\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Split your donation:<\/strong><\/a> This fund allows you to split a donation between 70+ community bail funds, mutual aid funds, and racial justice organizers.<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"National Bail Out: (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.actblue.com\/donate\/freeblackmamas2020\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>National Bail Out:<\/strong><\/a> National Bail Out is a Black-led collective of abolitionist organizers, lawyers, and activists that bails out those impacted by mass incarceration and provides supportive services to groups who are organizing to transform the criminal justice system.<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"The Minnesota Freedom Fund: (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/minnesotafreedomfund.org\/donate\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>The Minnesota Freedom Fund:<\/strong><\/a> The Minnesota Freedom Fund pays criminal bail and immigration bond for those who cannot afford to as we seek to end discriminatory, coercive, and oppressive jailing.<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"The Louisville Community Bail Fund: (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/actionnetwork.org\/fundraising\/louisville-community-bail-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>The Louisville Community Bail Fund:<\/strong><\/a> The Louisville Community Bail Fund exists to both bail out folks and provide post-release support to get them from jail to a situation of safety.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/brooklynbailfund.org\/donate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Brooklyn Community Bail Fund: (opens in a new tab)\"><strong>Brooklyn Community Bail Fund:<\/strong><\/a> The Brooklyn Community Bail Fund secures the freedom of New Yorkers who would otherwise be detained pretrial due to their poverty alone.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Act<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep the momentum going, even after the movement is no longer \u2018trending.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vote<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Engage in the electoral process so that candidates who actively advocate against racial and economic injustice, police
